When your child or adolescent is struggling with their mental health, We are here. Through IIC services, your child or adolescent can receive weekly therapy sessions with one of our dedicated team members.
What are IIC Services?
IIC Services is a state funded program facilitated by PerformCare through the NJ Children’s System of Care designed to help struggling children and adolescents receive short-term clinical intervention. Through PerformCare, your child can receive up to two hours of therapy per week to address mental health or behavioral challenges.
How do I know if my child or teen is eligible?
They’re eligible if…
If your child is between the ages of 5-21 years old and they are struggling with day-to-day functioning due to a mental health or behavioral challenge, they meet criteria for services.
How do I get started?

Step 1:
Contact PerformCare
Call 877-652-7624 to begin the referral process. -
Step 2:
Share Your Child's Needs
A PerformCare representative will discuss your child's strengths and needs and connect your family with the most appropriate services and supports. -
Step 3:
Complete an In-Home Assessment
A trained professional will meet with your family to better understand your child's needs and determine the most effective level of support. -
Step 4:
Receive Ongoing Care Coordination
A PerformCare representative will assign you to the appropriate level of care. Either Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) or your county care management organization (CMO).
Step 5:
Interested in working with us?
We would be happy to support you and your family. When speaking with PerformCare or your CMO representative simply let them know that you would like to request McElroy Therapeutic Intervention as your preferred provider.
